Sure, I may be fired up over the politics of this election. Some may call it obsessive and angry. Others say I’m bitter. But, there are some things I still can cling to.

Unfortunately, due to many a foul mouthed outburst and squabbles, I wouldn’t say I’m in the first few pages of god’s book. And no one ever told me that you need to have a clean criminal record to pass that five day waiting period for a fire-arm.

Luckily, I’ll always have ridiculously hilarious comedy.  Take a look at this random gem from Funny or Die.

It sort of gives me a glimmer of hope for our future. If Will and Shaq can set aside their differences, shouldn’t McCain and Obama?

Will Ferrell appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart last night, promoting his new movie Step Brothers. Him not wearing any flashy suit or “business casual” attire certainly did not surprise me. But, when Ferrell walked out onto the stage, check out what London football club jersey he was sporting:

I’ll admit that my relationship with Ferrell has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride.

Old School: awesome.
Anchorman: tolerable.
Talladega Nights: atrocious.

But, being a Chelsea supporter has certainly boosted his stock.  John C. Reilly though has a lot of catching up to do.  He looks like a West Ham man, to me.

Social networks, blogs, and sites to get your fill of viral videos are as fleeting as a my buddies in a cold pool on a hot summer day.

Nausea of the thought of my pride and joys aside, Super Deluxe debuted as Time Warner’s uber-conglomerate media dominanting “we’re on your team” outreach to the common online viewer. It had some great original web shorts, and was a great alternative if you’re a person who doesn’t think Will Ferrell and Funny or Die are the second coming of Christ.

But Super Deluxe falls a few points in my book because of their LACKING support of the Good Side of Bad News, featuring comedy’s Jim Norton and Jim Florentine. If you were a fan of Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, or of Opie and Anthony, you’ll agree that their in your face, hilarious vulgarity made them amazing. Check out a clip below:
