Customer Buys First iPhone 3G, World Apolgizes for Delay in Parade for his Accomplishment

What is it about people and wanting bragging rights?

Whatever the reason is, Gizmodo thinks Jonny, the New Zealander who purchased the very first iPhone 3G ahead of its July 11th launch, would know all about it. Like many nerds and virgins of his kind, the highly anticpated launch of Apple’s latest cash cow has people lining around their Apple stores in droves.

Information Week reports a potential earning of $1 billion for Steve Jobs and co. Just another brick in the “Apple’s-going-to-enslave-humanity-as-we-know-it-” wall.
